Speedway Motors is proud to be the first to announce the release of AFCO's newly designed IMCA approved steel body gas shocks. These new shocks have all the sophistication of our deflective disc technology wrapped up in an economical & rule friendly, non-adjustable package. These are sure to be the answer for any racer under constraints to experience gas shocks. 

The new Steel Body 24 Series Gas Shock uses a Floating Piston Design. They are rebuildable and serviceable through an authorized Afco shock rebuild center, and are available in straight or split valve codes. Coil-over and non coil-over compatible.

Bosch, Aston Martin team up on DB9 hybrid

German engineering firm Bosch has teamed with Aston Martin on a plug-in hybrid version of the venerable DB9. It keeps the 6.0-liter V12, thankfully, and is boosted by electric motors, for a total of more than 740 hp, according to Auto Express. Two motors sit at the front wheels, providing power, making this technically the first all-wheel drive Aston.

Range Rover unveils Evoque SUV

Land Rover has taken the wraps off its new small SUV, the two-door Range Rover Evoque, as it makes a bid to appeal to fashion-conscious urbanites. The Evoque (not to be confused with the Cadillac Evoq concept from 1999) maintains virtually all the styling from the LRX concept that previewed it two years ago. The example shown at a the unveiling in England on Thursday appeared to be slightly smaller than the concept.
