Listing is for Oil Cooler Cap Kit to suit the E36 and E34 Engine with aluminum oil filter housing (please view vehicle compatibility below). Designed to allow users to add an external oil cooler to lower oil temps without replacing entire oil filter housing. Specially designed with sealing mechanism to direct oil to the cooler lines and through the oil filter . There are two 1/4NPT ports available which can be used to feed oil to a turbo or supercharger. Can also be used for oil temperature sensors, oil pressure sensors, and pressure or temp gauges. The cap includes two 1/4NPT block off plugs, two 10AN fittings, and Mahle oil filter with cap seal. Oil filter cap is made from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum and anodize coated for added durability.  

NOTE: OIL COOLER CAP WILL ONLY FIT MODELS WITH FILTER CAPS WITH BOLT-THROUGH-TOP design. 

NOTE: REMOVE AND SAVE ALUMINUM RING WITH O-RING SEAL FROM FILTER WHEN REPLACING OLD FILTER. MUST BE REUSED WITH NEW FILTER.

Family and friends gathered at the GM Heritage Center in Warren, Mich., to celebrate the life of the late Chuck Jordan, who retired as General Motors vice president of design in 1992 and died on Dec. 9, 2010. While many of the 200 or so present remembered working with Jordan during his career that began at GM in 1949, the ceremony also made clear that he'd lived a rich and active life in retirement.
