Audi A8 (2010 / 2011) Revealed + UK Price Update

The 2011 Audi A8 revealed this morning in Miami Update: UK prices for the new Audi A8 added at the bottom. Well, Audi certainly made a meal of the reveal of the next generation Audi A8r in Miami in the early hours of this morning. They roped in a Charlies Angel (Lucy Lui) to play host for the evening and, despite her charms, the launch was a bit of a drawn-out, back-slapping fest.

Ford Mondeo facelift (2010): the cabin and estate

Ford has released these new pictures of the updated Ford Mondeo - and it's the first look we've had of the car in estate guise. We also get to see the Mondeo interior for the first time. Once upon a time there was a small boy, about seven years old, who had taken an interest in cars at a rather early stage, mainly thanks to his old man, who was (and, thankfully, still is) a car enthusiast and, back in those days, a staunch supporter of a certain Southern German marque. This naturally meant that the small boy would sometimes be a bit annoyed by his father's occasionally overbearing passion, but at the same time usually knit his eyebrows himself whenever he came across something sporting four wheels but no blue & white propeller (which, he believed, was the way things were supposed to be). So the foundations had been laid to turn this very young chap into a proper petrolhead one day, but his interest remained relatively casual and moderate until that one fateful evening.
