You are buying a Deluxe Factory Black 3brothersperformance backrest extension for 2003-2015 Burgman 400 models. (Message me if you have a 2013up because the vinyl is slightly more dull.)  This part is ONLY for Burgman 400 Owners; it will NOT adapt to other bikes.  (Look in our auctions if you have a Burgman 650.)  This makes your bike much more comfortable on long trips. You get everything you need for a quick and easy installation. The toughest part is finding the two little set-screws. It is a piece of cake after you find and remove them. Riders over 6 feet tall, look for the new 3brothersperfomance "Mega Legroom" replacement bracket.  It gives you a supportive backrest AND the full potential of legroom/buttroom from a Burgman seat.

***There is a guy that claims "1.5-2 inch gain in legroom" with the first generation steel Burgman extension, but check yourself, the factory butt-bumper is about an inch thick, his part is about an inch thick and 3brothersperformance standard part is about an inch thick.  1.5 to 2 inch gain is where?  Both the factory buttbumper and 3brothersperfomance extension do retain the adequate padding needed for safety in a rear accident, so maybe you get 1/2 inch gain with his at a cost of safety?  However, there is no real legroom gained with traditional extensions.  Checkout the new Mega Legroom extension, you can see with your own eyes that the Burgman seat is maximized for large riders.
