And Volvo’s new Flywheel KERS system does look promising. Volvo are currently running UK tests of a KERS flywheel system developed by Flybrid Automotive, which takes kinetic energy generated under braking and stores it in a flywheel fitted to the back axle.
Lotus owner Proton tries to quell sale rumours

Several newspaper articles have suggested that the new owners of Proton may divest its loss-making Lotus subsidiary. The ownership structure of Proton has changed in recent weeks, after the Khazanah Nasional Berhad sold its entire stake in Proton to DRB-Hicom.
Porsche seeks ‘everyday magic' with film contest

Aspiring directors made 60-second spots for the brand that show his or her interpretation of “everyday magic.” Of those entries, 10 finalists were chosen to make 90-second commercials that will be voted on by the public, as well as by Porsche brass. One film shows a father that has to run some errands on a weekday.
