Porsche Panameras with 300-hp V6 to arrive in the United States in June
Tue, 16 Feb 2010The six-cylinder siblings of the V8 Porsche Panamera will hit U.S. shores in June, packing 300 hp and starting at $75,375 for the rear-wheel-drive model. The all-wheel-drive version, called the Panamera 4, starts at $79,875, including destination charges.
Hyundai plans bigger V8 for Genesis, Equus
Fri, 25 Jun 2010When the Hyundai Equus luxury sedan goes on sale this fall, it will be powered by the 4.6-liter Tau V8 from the Genesis sedan. But at an unspecified later date, both the Equus and Genesis sedans will get a new 5.0-liter version of the Tau engine making 429 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque. Hyundai also is working on all-wheel drive for its rear-wheel-drive cars, which is to say the Genesis and Equus, which ride on different versions of the same platform.

The Group's Czech arm is showing a new concept dubbed the Fabia vRS 2000, which has been specifically developed and built for the event. Drawing on the Fabia Super 2000 rally car, Skoda's designers have created an original roadster pursuing a single goal: dynamism and the joy of sporty driving.
