Bugatti 'will continue to produce world's fastest car'

Bugatti will continue to produce the world's fastest cars - and that's a promise by the new chief executive of Bugatti. Wolfgang Durheimer, who took over as combined boss of Bugatti and Bentley in spring 2011, told CAR that being the fastest was a cornerstone of the modern Bugatti philosophy. 'It is vital that Bugatti produces the world's fastest car,' Durheimer said.

2011 Los Angeles Auto Show Roundup This week saw the start of the Los Angeles Motor Show, so we thought we’d have a quick look at what was on the floor, including some of the stuff we haven’t already looked at. There was the ‘cool in white’ Jaguar stand and the latest Defender DC100 Concept, all prettied up in baby blue. There were Camaros and Mustangs, the new Bentley GTC (but no V8 – that’s for Detroit in January), a hot Beetle R and Volvo’s You Concept that points the way to the next generation of Volvo design.

The Toyota GT86 TRD – a GT86 titivated by Toyota Racing Development – will cost £31,495 in the UK. Just 250 available. Now, Toyota has announced that the GT86 TRD will be going on sale in the UK on 1st March and will cost £31,495 for the manual version and £32,995 for the auto.
