Corvette Z06: The history

Chevrolet recently introduced the 2015 Corvette Z06, claiming it as the most track-capable Corvette in the brand's history. The Z06 started out back in 1963, but since its introduction, it has been available in four of the Corvette's seven production generations. GM recalls 413,418 Chevrolet Cruze models to modify engine shield, prevent fires

General Motors is recalling all Chevrolet Cruzes sold in the United States for a fix aimed at preventing engine-compartment fires. GM said the recall covers 413,418 Cruzes, or all of the cars sold in the United States since the model's launch in September 2010 through May. The automaker said the recall is to modify an engine shield under the vehicle to prevent liquids from being trapped in the engine compartment, where a fire could start.

Redesigned 2012 Subaru Impreza bows at the New York auto show

The redesigned 2012 Subaru Impreza made its debut in New York on Wednesday with a more refined look, a longer wheelbase and a new four-cylinder engine. The Impreza's horizontally opposed 2.0-liter produces 148 hp and returns 36 mpg on the highway, even with all-wheel drive. Fuel economy is maximized with electric power steering and low-rolling-resistance tires.
