Seat opens new Global Design Center

Seat has opened its new Global Design Center, located within the Technical Center close to its manufacturing operations in Martorell, near Barcelona. A week of opening celebrations culminated with an event on Nov 8 for designers from the fields of architecture, fashion, industry, advertising, communication, art and photography, as well as specialised design media. More than 130 attendees were able to stroll around the Seat Design Center facilities in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

As predicted earlier by CAR, here is the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Spyder – essentially an open-top Balboni. It’s a rear-wheel drive Gallardo roadster and will cost £158,797.60 in the UK. We love that 60 pence bit of the price tag!

But it’s getting closer (even though its not actually going to be on sale until 2010) and finally Aston Martin has released the first official image of the car, although there was a so-called official image (or rendering) of the Rapide a little while back.
