NOS Sheller Steering Wheel Army Jeep Tractor Boat
My friend has a Harley Davidson electric golf cart, and these wheels fit them perfectly. They also fit the Econo Tractors as well. With a key-way modification these are a NOS replacement for Crosleys. Measuring 15" across with a 11/16" spline shaft hole. These are NOT reproductions. They are old Military stock. The ribs on the outer ring are perfectly defined. Part number 276-1815. No cracks whatsoever. Nice dark glossy original factory finish. I have had one buyer tell me that with some modification to the central hub ( key-way cut )these are identical to the wheels used on Crosleys. The bottom part of the center hub hole measures 0.72" diameter,... and the top portion of the same hole is splined with 40 splines, and measures 0.67". Fabulous Fords go on forever at California show
Mon, 20 Apr 2009While the Mustang got its own celebration two days earlier on the other side of the country at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama, on Sunday, the annual Fabulous Fords Forever show in California honored all Blue Oval creations of the last 100 years. From the Model T to the new Mustang, there were hundreds of Ford cars and a few trucks spread out across the parking lot of Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park. This was the 24th running of the show, which was started by Ford and a herd of Mustang clubs as a kickoff to the car-show season.
