These ignition monitors are well known for being installed in the infamous 67-69 Yenko Camaros, Chevelles, and Novas with the Stewart Warner 970 series Pedestal Tachometers.

These Stewart Warner ignition monitors were also available over the counter at speed shops and performance dealer's part counters and were often installed by the dealer in high performance cars along with the 970 series tach in cars that were shipped from the factory with a tach. This 990A sender is designed to work with electronic ignition systems.

This ignition monitor is in excellent original condition as shown. It is New Old Stock in its original box. It has never been used or installed. All the original terminal mounting screws are intact and in good condition. The label is bright, chrisp, and legible. There are no breaks, modifications, or repairs.  This is a very hard to find sending unit in NOS condition.

Tue, 06 Aug 2013

General Motors is cutting the Chevrolet Volt's price by $5,000 amid price pressure from rival electrified vehicles. The sticker price on the 2014 Volt, which will arrive at dealerships this month, will be $34,995, including an $810 destination fee. That drops the effective price to $27,495, after applying the $7,500 federal tax credit for the plug-in hybrid.
