I have MANY more NP 205 parts on my other auctions including cases and gear sets.
32 LBS of Internal Parts for all GM NP 205s. Includes basically everything EXCEPT the Case, Input Gear, Rear Output Shaft, Front Output shaft, Yokes, Gears, speedometer gear set, and Aluminum rear output bearing retainer (the type required varies with type of rear output shaft - fixed or slip yoke).
Will also fit the Lomax aftermarket NP205 with the 3:1 gears (you buy the 3:1 case and gears and have to supply the rest of the parts from a stock NP205).
This parts kit can be used to easily build your own custom NP205. Aftermarket shafts are stronger than the stock ones and are a common upgrade. Speedometer gears vary with shaft type.
The NP 205 is very simple to work on. NO shop press is required - everything just bolts together except for the idler which must be shimmed. NO "special" tools are required, although I guess some people might not have snap ring pliers and a 1-5/16" socket. Almost all the parts can only go in one place. The vast majority of parts interchange between GM, Ford, Dodge, and IH.

Back cover and bolts.

Front output bearing retainer and bolts. (The seal you need to install depends on spline count of front output used.)
Idler shaft.
Idler shaft cover and 3 bolts.
Interlock rods.

Front output bearing.
Rear output bearing.
Rear output and speedometer housing and bolts(specific to GM).
Pair of side brace bolts.
Etc.

Fifth Gear on TV – the Return
Tue, 23 Mar 2010Fifth Gear Returns to TV in April with a new format Fifth Gear was everyone’s second favourite car show on TV. And that second favourite label seemed to be its undoing when FIVE decided last year to ditch the show after it failed to make any impact on the ratings against everyone’s favourite car show on TV – Top Gear. But FIVE (channel five if we ditch the trendy CAPITALS) have had a change of heart, done a syndication deal or two for Fifth Gear and are putting together a new series (they’ve actually commissioned two of them) which should hit TV screens at the end of next month.

Quite simply, it’s an astonishingly generous charitable foundation founded by, and driven ever on, by Elton John, and it’s raised getting on for £50 million since Elton founded it in 1993, thanks in no small part to Elton’s generosity with his royalties (always making sure he has enough left over for flowers, of course). And as it’s Elton who’s the heart and soul of the EJAF, fund raisers tend to be a little more interesting than a bring and buy stall on the local village green.
