Audi to build cars in North America

Volkswagen Group's premium brand is completing details of the assembly plant--including models, location and capacity. Audi CEO Rupert Stadler said all decisions will be made within three years.

While some are taking to the air to travel to Mediterranean hotspots, anyone getting the car out in the UK will have to compete for road space with an estimated nine million other vehicles. Around 500,000 passengers are expected to depart from Heathrow airport over the weekend, as well as 234,000 from Gatwick, 172,000 from Manchester, more than 150,000 from Scotland's airports and 134,000 from Stansted.
