OE 1947-1948 Chevrolet stem wind dash clock. Fits Stylemaster, Fleetmaster & Fleetline. Made by Westclox. It is in nice condition with wear consistent with age. It works but it runs slow. Probably needs a good cleaning inside by a qualified clock person and it should run correctly. Chrome bezel has some minor pitting. Clock face, hands, stem wind/time set knob and glass are all in very nice condition. I wound it only 8 turns so as not to overwind it. If you overwind it, it's on you! Dubbed "The concept car that's too exciting to keep secret", it was a production-feasible project that would act as a blank canvas for all future Austin Rover creations. Roy Axe, Design Director of Rover, designed the car around the Metro 6R4 and had an aluminum chassis and plastic body.
Mercury gets a small car in 2011
Sun, 14 Feb 2010Ford Motor Co. executives confirmed that Mercury will get a new car on the same platform as the Ford Focus. Ford executives told dealers Sunday at the National Automobile Dealers Association convention in Orlando, Fla., that the small Mercury is coming in 2011, the same year the Focus arrives.
