Vauxhall GTC Paris concept (2010) first pictures
Thu, 23 Sep 2010By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 23 September 2010 23:01 This rather lovely red beauty is the Vauxhall GTC Paris concept, and our first look at how 2011’s new three-door Astra will look. But you know that because Vauxhall released the first pictures of this car back in early September – the reason we’re revisiting it is that we’ve now got a chance to glimpse inside the GTC Paris.Vauxhall GTC Paris? So it’s exactly what is says on the tin? That’s right – this is Vauxhall’s latest concept car, and it will be unveiled on 30 September at the 2010 Paris motor show.
Mini Countryman (2010): first official pictures
Wed, 20 Jan 2010This is the Mini Countryman, the fourth addition to Mini’s range – after the regular three-door hatch, the Convertible and the Clubman – and also the first current-generation Mini to have four-wheel drive and four regular passenger doors. No, Mini says the Countryman is a crossover, and the four-wheel drive system – called Mini All4 – is an option. Think of the Countryman as a slightly bigger and more practical Clubman with a longer wheelbase than other Minis, four proper doors and a conventional lift-up rear hatch, but to make sure it looks a bit more butch Mini has given the Countryman a bigger, bluffer nose than its siblings.
Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe
Tue, 09 Jan 2007By Ben Oliver Motor Shows 09 January 2007 05:53 Drophead Coupe makes waves in Detroit CAR Online brought you the first pictures of the new open-top Phantom and exclusive video footage last month, but this £260,000 monster still stole the Detroit show when Rolls-Royce chairman Ian Robertson officially unveiled it in what will be by far its biggest market. The 100EX concept on which the production car is based stole the 2004 Geneva show too, and features which we all thought would only be seen on the concept, such as the teak ‘decking’ on the hood cover and the rear-hinged suicide doors, have made it to the finished car. Production starts at Goodwood this summer.
