New GM 1965 1966 1967 1968 1969 1970 1971 1972 1973 1974 Corvette Big Block Oil Pan, Windage Tray & Drain Hole Bolt This is a new GM oil pan (OEM) with its original factory box. This is the correct oil pan for big block Corvettes (396, 427 and 454 engines - all engine options). This pan has correct interior baffles, trap door, windage tray and factory information sheet. Pan has a rear drain plug. Oil capacity of pan is 5 quarts (plus 1 quart for oil filter), same as original. Dip stick hole is on the passenger (RH) side. Note that this pan has a metric drain plug bolt (can be replaced with original F-C, 7/8" bolt), and it does not have corner reinforcement tabs. In all other respects it is identical to the orginal pans installed on big block Corvette engines. Pan was painted by the factory and removed from its box only for these photos.
