Original 350 engine removed from a 1967 SS Camaro. This is an original 67 350 engine-NOT an over the counter replacement. Great engine for rebuilding. Very rare first year Chevrolet 350 engine only installed in 67 Camaro SS cars. Casting # 3892657,Casting date F47,front pad stamping V0614MS. Has original 7027203 Q-Jet carb,1111168 distributor,3782608 water pump(undated),oil pan,front timing cover,3917291 heads,3919803 intake,2690 crank,3892673 pistons,3896966 harmonic balancer,3789733 flywheel,oil canister,pcv mounting clip,oil filler cap,valve covers,thermostat housing,pulleys,alt bracket,LH side plug wire stand,etc. Can supply casting dates on any component that has a date. Was removed 15 years ago from the original car. Still has original assembly line yellow paint markings. Unmolested engine except for aftermarket timing chain and gears and missing dip stick. BMW has launched its first diesel M car: the new M550d xDrive in saloon and Touring estate forms. It's part of a strategy to fill the gap between the exclusive M GmbH division cars and the top-end cosmetic M Sport trim lines with a new range of M lite: BMW M Performance Automobiles. Developed by the engineers responsible for the M3, M5 et al, the new M550d xDrive is powered by a new high-output version of the 3.0-litre straight six turbodiesel packing not one, not two, but three turbochargers.

The DBR9 will return to the famous La Sarthe circuit in June. Perhaps this was inevitable, since Aston’s new non-executive chairman is David Richards - the chairman of Prodrive, which develops the DBR9 and its FIA GT3-spec sister car, the DBRS9.

Honda unveils Insight Hybrid

Honda has released the first official images of the Prius-fighting Honda Insight, which is due to launch in the New Year at the Detroit Motor Show, and be in UK Car showrooms in the Spring of 2009. Honda has been sceptical about the future of the Hybrid/Electric car, and has expressed the view that it believes the long term future lies in Hydrogen powered EVs, rather than EVs per se. But this is a sensible move by Honda to take away sales from the Toyota Prius.
