This carburetor was made by Rochester , The Rochester Products Division of General Motors was located in Rochester New York and built carburetors for GM vehicles since 1949 . It is a R4-E4ME the E4ME is a Electric side mounted choke with a Mixture Control Solinoid Rochester Quadrajet 4 barrel carburetor, which means the choke is located on the passenger side connected to the carburetor and uses key on power source and has a Mixture Control Solinoid (normaly blue 1980 has black) .They started making them in 1980 and ran threw 1990. Most will have 1 inch 20 Fuel inlet . 1980 and up electronic quadrajets use a different metering rod . This carburetor has a part number of  17087131 and used on 81-90 Chev/BOP Blue Sol./TPS

Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger to get a new lease on life

With Fiat-based replacements still at least two years away, the Chrysler Group has delayed plans to kill its slow-selling Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger, sources say. The two sedans were all but left for dead by previous owner Cerberus Capital Management. Now insiders say Chrysler intends to freshen the cars and keep them on the market until late 2012.

Sergio Scaglietti: 1920-2011

One of the most iconic names in Italian coachbuilding has died. Sergio Scaglietti, famous for creating some of the most beautiful and valuable cars in the world, passed away earlier this week at the age of 91, in his home town of Modena, Italy. The name Scaglietti is synonymous with Ferrari, the moniker still being carried on the 612 flagship model, and it is a pairing that runs deeper than crossbranding and business.
