OTC Genisys 2.0 scan tool shown up and running plugged into my 99 SIlverado. Great tool but I no longer work on vehicles for a living and don't need this scan tool any longer. Battery probably needs replaced but works fine off vehicle power. The 99 pathfinder insert got  a little warped but still works as it should (used it to check my 99 silverado. Updated through 2006. I no longer have a case or a manual for it, I believe you can download a manula from OTC website. Feel free to ask any questions, everything in the pictures is included. This is used and does show some wear. Thanks

Cables included are; No. 3306-22, Ford III, 3305-92, 3305-65 CHRY-II, CH7000A, Computer connection cables, Extension, Ford II, Chrysler cable, GMTPI cable that has pos. & beg. battery terminal connectors and cigarette cable adapter on it, another computor connection cable that has a damaged end (i will try to get additional pics of the cable posted). Cards included are Smart Insert No. 3306-01 OBDII Generic, No. 3306-07 General Motors 1.0, No. 3306-05 Chrysler Motors 2.0, ABS 98up, 1993 Domestic Pathfinder II, Pathfinder 99up.I did not buy it new, I bought it from Galena Chrysler in Galena IL about 6 months ago. They sold it to upgrade scan tools to comply with Mopar service standards so it was in use until I bought it. It's a little too complex for what I need at home.

To help with questions, there are scratches on the outer plastic screen, and the metal stand on the back is off but included, hope this helps.

Honda Passport recalled for suspension fix

Fri, 17 Dec 2010

Honda will recall 35,984 copies of the Passport SUV from the 1998 to 2002 model years in the United States for a suspension piece damaged by road-salt corrosion. The lower suspension link could become corroded in areas where road salt is used extensively. Honda says the lower link bracket could detach from the frame, which would affect handling and increase the risk of a crash.

Audi plays paintball with RS4 Avants

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

The latest generation of cars from Ingolstadt has finally mitigated the nose-heavy feeling we didn't enjoy in previous automobiles from the company. Now they've mitigated the lack of paintball guns, adding them to a pair of RS4 Avants -- done up in Spy-vs.-Spy black and white, natch -- and setting them loose in a hangar, framing the whole shebang with a smidge of Super Nintendo-vintage video-gaminess. Still no dice on getting one in the states, though.

Chrysler brand aims S line at younger crowd

Mon, 31 Jan 2011

With just four models and an average customer age of 62, Chrysler brand has the Chrysler Group's thinnest lineup, lowest volume and oldest buyers. But Chrysler has a plan to expand its offerings, boost sales and attract younger customers: a new line of vehicles, dubbed S, that arrives in the spring. The plan aims to keep traditional customers happy with the beige leather interiors, wood accents and chrome grilles they want, and woo younger customers with different styling in the S vehicles.
