Offering a pair of merCruiser Big Block Chevy BBC cast aluminum valve covers. You will receive the exact items you see in the accompanying pix. These valve covers are used and have the original merCruiser factory wrinkle flat black finish. One of the pair has the original merCruiser factory logo. As you can see in the pix, the black finish is not perfect, as each cover does have some peeling, chips, scratches, etc. Please examine the pix closely to fully acquaint yourself with the cosmetic condition of the covers. As shown in the pix, each cover has a spring-retained oil fill cap and a rubber plug in the breather hole. Note on the flip side that the fill holes do not have baffles installed. Pforzheim University Summer Show 2008
Fri, 08 Aug 2008Transportation Design students at Germany's Pforzheim University displayed their work in the school's summer degree show held in July, one of two graduation shows per year. The exhibition included work from graduating Diploma and Masters students, a Honda project by MA students, and exterior and interior projects by the 4th, 5th and 7th semester students. The show was held in conjunction with the biennial International Design Forum at the Pforzheim Congress Center.

Rains Wash Out Pacific Coast Highway
Fri, 18 Mar 2011California's scenic Highway 1 is closed down for at least a month after a landslide washed out a 40-foot section of the famous road just north of Big Sur. The closure is in effect from 12 miles north of Big Sur State Park at the Bixby Creek Bridge to 10 miles miles south of the Carmel River Bridge "due to a slip-out," according to the California Dept. of Transportation.
