This is a new 3 1/4 inches wide x 1 1/2 inches high for the emblem and 3/4 inch for the black bar iron on patch. The thread colors are black used for the merrowed border and metallic red in the emblem. The PONTIAC script is metallic silver/pewter color, what at first looks like silver in the emblem is a very pale metallic gold that shines like a new coin, all on a black fabric background. I included a close up to try to show the gold thread, use the zoom and you might see it. Check my store for a Pontiac key ring with the same emblem and related books. 1933 Alfa Romeo wins 'Gold Cup' at Villa d'Este
Sat, 26 May 2012A 1933 Alfa Romeo that its owner longed for as a youngster growing up in South Africa took home the "Coppa d'Oro Villa d'Este" honors at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. The award is voted on by the attendees at the first day of the event, on the shores of Lake Como in Italy. David Cohen said he often saw the Alfa Romeo 6C GS 6th Series when he was riding his bicycle as a boy in South Africa and could only dream of one day owning the car.
Ford Fiesta retains eco marathon title
Wed, 16 Oct 2013A FORD Fiesta has been crowned the winner of the ALD Automotive/Shell Fuelsave MPG Marathon for the second year running. The 1.6-litre diesel Fiesta Econetic achieved 88.69mpg over 339.3 miles on what some observers say was the toughest course yet for the annual event. Hills, bad weather and heavy traffic were all obstacles faced by the 46 competitors who set out from Tankersley Manor, near Sheffield.
