The Procomp PC6AL is the most powerful ignition of its type available. It is a multi-spark, capacitor discharge, electronic ignition designed for high performance street, drag racing, oval track, and marine applications. The PC6AL uses the latest state of the art digital technology, and when used with the Procomp high performance coil (PC - 91), produces a spark gap current three times greater than most similar systems and almost eight times the spark of the standard ignition. This unit can be triggered by magnetic, hall effect, points and crank trigger pick ups. Includes a soft touch rev limiter, which does not require chips. Smoking in cars to be banned
Tue, 11 Feb 2014MPs in the House of Commons have voted in favour of amendment to the Children and Families Bill, thereby recommending a ban on smoking in cars when there are children present in England. The vote does not force the government to bring such a change into law, but has passed with a substantial majority and the recommendation is seen to have substantial public support. Tesla Expands UK Supercharger Network
Thu, 14 Aug 2014FOLLOWING on from the recent UK launch of the right-hand drive version of its Model S electric car, Tesla has turned its attention to expanding its Supercharger network. The Supercharger is a public charging facility allowing owners to rapid charge their vehicles – around 20 minutes for a half charge – enabling longer journey times. In partnership with the Hyatt Regency hotel chain, Tesla now has Superchargers in London and Birmingham at the hotel’s Portman Square and Bridge Street properties respectively.

Now the new Megane has gone on sale in the UK – as a Hatchback, Coupe and Sport Tourer – with prices starting at £16,745 for the Expression+ 1.6 VVT 110 Hatch, rising to £26,925 for the Renaultsport 265 Coupe. The changes wrought by Renault for the Megane are relatively minor, with a new family nose (a lot like the new Clio), new lights, tweaked bonnet, new Renault badge and some very minor interior changes including the addition of Renault’s R-Link Media system as an option.
