Up for sale is a used PSI exhaust manifold, head pipe, and two chambers/stinger pipes. The exhaust only requires one chamber/stinger, so the other one could be used as a spare or modified to work on a Super Jet (it would need to be cut, turned, and re-welded).

The exhaust system came from a collection of parts I bought from a retired racer. He ran the pipes in both Yamaha VXRs and Wave Blaster WB1 skis. One of the chambers has been cut and re-welded to have a longer stinger for more bottom end. The other one may have been modified as well.

I was planning on cutting, turning, and re-welding one of the stingers 90 degrees to run in a Yamaha SuperJet. I ended up finding a different exhaust to run in my ski.

This exhaust will be a direct bolt on for Yamaha VXR, Yamaha VXR Pro, and Yamaha Wave Blaster 1 models. It would have to be modified to run on a Yamaha Super Jet. You would have to check to see if it would work on other models such as a Wave Runner 3.

Previous owner said he ran the pipes on a 61x 701. I have 650 and 701 cylinders, so I can verify that the ports match a 701 before I sell the pipes.

Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions.

Thanks

2013 Australian Motor Show axed

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

This year’s Australian Motor Show in Melbourne has been cancelled by its organizers three months before its planned opening. Falling attendance figures played a big part in taking the decision, as did what is seen as a lack of manufacturer support. The Australian International Motor Show Joint Venture's event director Russ Tyrie said the decision was taken "based on a consensus view of the automotive industry to focus limited marketing budgets in 2013 on firm-specific activities, rather than an industry-based motor show." The Volkswagen Group's decision not to attend may well have acted as the final nail in the coffin along with Hyundai's hesitancy despite initial support.

Ferrari 599 successor to debut at Geneva show

Mon, 20 Feb 2012

Ferrari has confirmed that the follow-up to the 599 Fiorano will debut at the Geneva motor show next month. The latest in Ferrari's long line of front-engine V12 GT cars, which stretches back to the 166 Inter of 1948, it's rumored to boast in the neighborhood of 700 hp. That's roughly double the power of the 365 GTB/4 pictured above, which Dan Gurney and Brock Yates famously used to cross the country in 35 hours and 54 minutes back in 1971.

Virtually sit in the new Corvette Stingray

Wed, 08 May 2013

We're not sure how this awesome 360-degree look at the new Corvette interior flew under our radar for so long, but we're loving the full driver's view of the 2014 Stingray taken at the Chicago Auto Show. The massive improvements in the Corvette's interior are on full display, with the red leather and carbon-fiber accents adding just the right amount of Bad MoFo to what's an otherwise luxurious cockpit. Stay tuned: We're expecting to get our hands on the new Corvette this summer, and we'll bring you a full drive report as soon as we wipe the grins off our faces.
