Very rare vintage Mickey Thompson staggered valve covers. Early small block Chevy bolt pattern. Will fit 1955 1956 1957 1958 1959 heads. No provisions for breather or PCV. Need to be polished and there is a chip on the outer perimeter flange. It does not affect the gasket surface. Correct for gasser or vintage upgrade.

It seems likely that the new SLK will come with a new set of engines, with more than a passing nod to eco-concerns. In will come a 1.6 litre, four-pot supercharged engine that will pick up the mantle from the old 1.8 litre Kompressor engine – same power – or more – with lower emissions and better economy.

In his new position, Gilles will be responsible for all activities of Chrysler's Product Design Office and will report to Frank O. Klegon, Executive Vice President of Product Development.

The additions come ahead of the Museum's relocation from its current location in the shadows of Tower Bridge to the former Commonwealth Institute across town in Kensington.
