 RJS RACING SFI 16.1 5 POINT HANS CAM LOCK UNIVERSAL FLOOR MOUNT BELT BLUEThis listing is for a RJS Racing Equipment Hans Style 5 Point Cam Lock Racing Harness. The SFI 16.1 Harness has a 3" Pull Down Individual Floor Bar Mount Shoulder Harness that Bolts or Wraps to the roll bar running just above the floor or to the chassis behind the seat. This shoulder harness is tapered from 3" to 2" to slide into the neck restraint device. The Lap Belts are 3" Pull Up Lap Belts that Bolt or Wrap to the chassis. The submarine belt is 2" that will bolt or wrap. This is a Universal belt as it can Bolt or Wrap or both on its anchoring points. This harness is Blue in color but if you would like another color please leave a note or message at checkout. The price is still the same for Black, Blue, Red, Orange, Yellow, Gray, Purple and Hot Pink. This item will come with a current SFI tag within the month/year that it is purchased. This is also a re-certifiable belt through RJS Racing Equipment after two years and can be re-certified three times in its lifetime of 10 years. These harnesses are manufactured by RJS Racing Equipment out of The Motor City since 1959. One of the last American companies still offering American made products to the world. This item is NOT an overseas cheap manufactured part with a bootlegged SFI tag. Every Part of this belt is manufactured in Detroit, Michigan and assembled in Jupiter, Florida. China to boost electric cars with 30% Government EV fleet
Sun, 20 Jul 2014The BYD E6 EV (pictured) will benefit from China’s push on EVs The UK government has just announced its commitment to use electric cars for its own vehicles in an effort to boost the take-up of EVs, but China is going even further. China has ordered government officials to start buying electric cars (that means BEVs, plug-in hybrids and hydrogen fuel cell cars) in a big way, with instructions that 30 per cent of government cars must fall in to the ‘New Energy’ category by 2017, and an even higher percentage going forward. The aim is to cut pollution, and China expects to have 5 million New Energy cars on the road by 2020 and it is urging it government agencies and some city governments to start buying New Energy vehicles from Chinese makers like BYD and SDAIC, but also instructing them to build more charging stations and supporting infrastructure.

In another of those ‘We didn’t know there was a world record for that’ stories, we reported earlier this month that a new Guinness World Record had been set for the furthest golf shot caught in a car. A Mercedes SLS AMG driven by David Coulthard had managed to catch a golf ball driven down the runway at Dunsfold by professional golfer Jake Shepherd.
Honda unveils 2014 NSX Concept-GT racer

The unveiling of the new prototype challenger follows an on-track debut for the Honda NSX concept at Mid-Ohio Raceway in America earlier this month – and once again, it’s piqued our interest in the new Japanese hybrid supercar set for launch in 2015.
