Aston Martin make Nissan’s Andy Palmer their new CEO

There’s no specific start date for Andy Palmer at Aston, but Nissan has announced that Philippe Klein will take up Palmer’s role at Nissan on 15 September, so it shouldn’t be long before Palmer holds the reins at Aston Martin. Mercedes S Class production cut as sales fall

Mercedes is cutting production of the range topping S Class to a one shift operation as sales fall ahead of the new 2013 S Class. But there are now plenty of signs that even premium car makers are not immune from the economic climate – particularly in Europe – as sales start to slide. 2013 Ford Fusion recalled for faulty headlight lens

The redesigned 2013 Ford Fusion, recalled earlier this week for potential fires in the 1.6-liter engine, is now being recalled for a headlight fix. The headlights don’t meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says that an improperly cured projector coating will become hazy, reducing the brightness of the low-beam lamp.
