This listing is for a handle for your Smart car rear glass hatch.  These are very nice cars but a big complaint from owners is the lack of a handle to lift and close the rear glass.  This forces you to use the tips of your fingers to grip the glass edge and causes finger prints on the glass and a clean car...OH MY!

4SmartCar America offers an aftermarket handle on their web site for $49.95 + shipping and S-man offers another design for $39! Here is a better looking handle at less than half the cost and unlike the plastic handles offered by some others, my handle is black powder coated metal.

I am not an aftermarket auto parts company but just a guy that has come up with a really nice looking lifting handle converted from a drawer pull... Easy to install with no drilling or modification to the car or glass in any way and looks factory installed.  It comes complete ready to install with 3M Scotch-Mount double coated acrylic foam tape.  (OEM approved trim mounting tape).  This is the same mounting method most all automotive manufactures have used to secure door edge guards, emblems, ornaments, etc since the mid 70’s.

I will be listing several very nice and interesting items in the next few days, the item here is but one of them. Be sure to check out the "View Seller's Other Items" button in the blue box at the top of this page.

Pagani Huayra: In the U.S by 2013 say Pagani

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

Pagani Huayra - now heading for the USA in 2013 At the weekend we broke the news that Pagani were not going to be able to take the Huayra to the US for the foreseeable future, as they’d had their application for a Temporary Exemption from Advanced Air Bag Requirements denied by the DOT. Which we’ve known was likely for months. So we asked why Pagani continued with its US launch and continued taking orders for cars it knew, almost certainly, it wouldn’t be able to complete.

Aston Martin One-77 tops 220mph in testing

The Aston Martin One-77 tops 220mph in testing We saw the Aston Martin One-  77 all over the place last year. It turned up Geneva, at Villa D’Este in the summer and the One-77 was also to be seen at Salon Prive in July where our leader spent time checking it out together with celebrity petrol-head JK. But it’s gone a bit quiet on the One-77 front lately as Aston Martin work to iron out the wrinkles before the One-77 starts to hit the roads in the Summer.
