Up for Sale is a nice used Snap On Wood Handle Wide Round Face Short Curve Cross Peen Body Hammer. This is Snap On part BF608B and measures aprox 12 3/4" long. This has an original Snap On wood handle and the head is nice and tight. Works Great!.
This is in good working condition with only light scratches, scrapes and wear from normal use (see pictures). No engravings or owners marks. I will combine shipping with my other items whenever possible. Audi TT ultra quattro concept sheds 300kg & heads for Worthersee
Thu, 25 Apr 2013The TT ultra quattro concept manages to tip the scales at 1111kg, 299kg less than the starting point – the TT S quattro – thanks to a new version of the TT’s aluminium space frame, carbon fibre reinforced plastic panels, carbon fibre for many body panels and some judicious use of magnesium. Other weight saving tricks include carbon ceramic brakes with aluminium calipers, titanium exhaust, cameras instead of heavy door mirror mechanisms, and carbon fibre and aluminium wheels. The weight saving extends to the interior of the TT ultra quattro concept too, with carbon fibre used for the door and centre console trims and glass-fibre reinforced plastic base for the seats which saves 22kh alone. But despite the weight savings Audi hasn’t made the TT ultra quattro concept a hair shirt outing with goodies like leather seats, AirCon and electric windows still on offer.
Tony Williams-Kenny announced as Design Director, SAIC Motor
Wed, 19 Jan 2011Tony Williams-Kenny has been announced as the new global Design Director of Chinese automaker, SAIC Motor. During his previous role as Design Director for SAIC Motor, UK, Williams-Kenny worked on various Roewe products, as well as being responsible for designing a new generation of MG models including the MG3, MG6 and MG Zero – the first concept car from the brand since 1985. When interviewed by CDN last year, we asked him how important design is in the company: "For me it's obvious SAIC gets the need for design and the need for a strong brand design relationship," he answered. "We have a really good review group at senior management level too, who actually want to be involved in design reviews and the decision making process." After gaining an MA in Automotive Design and a BA (Hons) in Transport Design from Coventry University in the UK in 1998, Kenny joined Mitsubishi Europe Design in Trebur, Germany as a designer.
