These Snap-on Punch Pins had their own place in the tool box and never banged up against any of my other tools. There are some very minor scratches from usage, but is in otherwise perfect condition.  An identifier number of 3816 is etched on the scraper tool as this aircraft mechanic did on all my instruments. 

Supercar design contest's final three announced

Dutch supercar maker Vencer has announced the top three entries in its design contest, which challenged the global design community to submit ideas for its second model. The competition, launched in May last year, saw around 90,000 voters judging over 350 designs on its website. From these, the three with the most ‘likes' were chosen.

NEW CARS and light trucks may be fitted with technology that lets vehicles communicate with each other in a bid to avoid deadly crashes. A radio beacon would continually transmit a vehicle's position, heading, speed and other information. Cars would receive the same information back from other vehicles, and a vehicle's computer would alert the driver to an impending collision.

GM delays innovative new diesel truck engine

General Motors' deteriorating financial situation has caused the company to delay one of the most advanced engines that it has ever designed, a 4.5-liter diesel for light-duty trucks. "We have to make tough decisions right now," GM Powertrain spokeswoman Susan Garavaglia said. Truck enthusiasts were eagerly awaiting the engine, which would have started production next fall at GM's plant in Tonawanda, N.Y.
