Saleen S351 Mustang being prepped
Fri, 07 Dec 2012After a tumultuous and sometimes litigious couple of years (which included Steve Saleen the man suing Saleen the company for calling itself Saleen!), Saleen the man, the car and the company with the man again in the driver's seat are back, still in Southern California and still in the bustling Inland Empire burg of Corona to which they all ensconced a few years ago. So what's new? First up is a Saleen 351 Mustang, which was announced at the LA auto show last week.
Mercedes-Benz considering Aston Martin buyout
Wed, 02 Apr 2014Mercedes-Benz is reportedly considering a deal to buyout sports car manufacturer Aston Martin, fuelling rumours that the canned Aston Martin Lagonda SUV concept from 2009 (pictured above) could once again be back on. The move would see Merc increase its current 5% stake in the British brand following a deal announced last year to supply AMG engines for Aston’s next generation of sports cars. Saab says three new models are in the works
Tue, 05 Jul 2011Saab says a new financial deal with Chinese companies Pang Da and Zhejiang Youngman Lotus gives it the cash to plan three new models. Saab's plan calls for: -- The 9-1, an entry-level car that has been known as the 9-2 until now. -- The 9-6 and the 9-7, which Saab says will be prestige vehicles.
