Complete original setup for your washer bottle. This is correct from the early 60's to 1972. Their is no embossed writing on this original cap. Includes original ribbed hose, and the very rare BRASS strainer. Not many brass strainers around, as they rotted out. This strainer is perfect. Nice shape with no disappointments here. This is for the complete set. I have this complete original set for sale in one auction. You can not get a set like this in the aftermarket. Make sure your show car is correct....points...points...points! When only the best will do for your car, then you need this. I have a much cheaper set available for sale in my other auction with the nylon strainer, and the regular cap.

One Lap of the Web: preservation-class edition

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

-- This video about a preserved Volkswagen dealership in Brazil is in Portuguese, and even if you don't know Portuguese, it will still make sense to you if you're a car person. (Or, you can activate the English subtitles on YouTube, as it's an interesting story.) -- What's the best truck for scaling vertical surfaces? That's right, it's the Unimog, and this week there's a 1965 example (that would be the oval-faced version) on the eBays with a rather realistic Buy it Now price.

Hyundai Nuvis Concept makes waves in New York

Thu, 09 Apr 2009

The Hyundai Nuvis Concept - a startlingly good crossover concept from Hyundai [ad#ad-1] We really do need to start taking the Koreans seriously (if we weren’t already) when it comes to cars. They are moving very rapidly up the ladder and if European car makers, never mind the Americans, aren’t careful there’s going to be another sea-change to rival the one that Japan made a few decades ago. And one to keep watching is definitely Hyundai.

Russia gets its first Lamborghini dealership

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

While luxury supercars have been a status symbol of the new upper class in Russia, owners often have resorted to buying secondhand or going out of the motherland for their latest top-dollar vehicle acquisitions. Automobili Lamborghini is betting on the continued strength of the Russian market by opening its first dealership in that county in conjunction with the Burevestnik Group, a luxury-automobile and yacht company, in Moscow. “We are very proud of representing Lamborghini in Moscow,” said Andrey Lomakin, co-owner of the Burevestnik Group.
