College Exhibition: Umea Institute of Design Degree Show 2004

Students at Sweden's Ume? University Institute of Design presented their work in the annual Degree Show in June, which included work from the Masters programmes in Transportation Design, Advanced Product Design, and Interaction Design along with the final thesis projects from the Bachelor level graduates. Chrysler and Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne has been meeting with his dealers in Las Vegas--car dealers, not black jack dealers. The meeting included a look at some upcoming products for the Chrysler Group brands. Dealers said they were shown a redesigned Chrysler 200 that looks a lot like the Dodge Dart.

And that was about it for the Czech marque this year; 2008 is a bit of a slow period for Skoda, before the product onslaught begins in earnest next year. With its new nose and tail bringing it into line with the new Superb, the Skoda Octavia now has much needed visual presence.
