Set of 2, full 16.5" x 9.5" perforated sheets. Trim to fit as you wish! Perfect for covering the old faded tanks. These are the highest quality decals on the market, they provide a great fit, great look and will never fade or wear off. Graphics These are made to withstand the rigours of motocross racing. High performance adhesive – sealed in graphics that will never fade or wear off. Can be applied over paint and a clear coat can be applied over the decals as well. Installation The most important aspect of decal application is to make sure your tank is free of all grease, dirt, etc. A good solvent-based cleaner will do the trick. Once cleaned allow a minimum of five minutes before decal placement. Carefully align decals before removing the backing to familiarize yourself with placement then apply. Temperatures above 15 C work best. You can use a hair dryer to help shape the decal. Adhesive cures to its best bond strength after 24 hours – do not use bike until bond is cured. McLaren P13 – first OFFICIAL details and image
Wed, 11 Dec 2013McLaren P13 (pictured) first OFFICIAL details revealed It was only last month that we had official confirmation that the McLaren P13 – McLaren’s more affordable mid-engined supercar – would arrive in 2015 to take on cars like Audi’s R8 and the top end Porsche 911s. Now McLaren has gone a bit further and revealed details of the P13. The McLaren P13 – shown above in a sketch by McLaren’s design boss, Frank Stephenson – looks to take its design cues more from the MacLaren P1 than the 12C – a good thing – and will utilise the same carbon fibre MonoCell chassis as the P1 and 12C as well as a de-tuned version of the same 3.8 litre V8 turbo.
BMW 640d xDrive announced
Fri, 24 Feb 2012On Thursday, Greg Kable waxed effusively about the new BMW M550d xDrive coupe, suggesting that it was the ultimate 5-series for everyday use. On Friday, Munich announced that the 5's two-door sibling will receive an AWD diesel variant: the 640d xDrive. While not quite as high-zoot as the 5-series' top oil burner, the 640d's 3.0-liter, twin-turbo straight-six cranks out a respectable 465 lb-ft of almighty torque between 1,500 rpm and 2,500 rpm, plus 313 hp at 4,400 rpm—numbers that, according to BMW, will carry the 6-series to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds.
