I switched to a rear mount waterbox on my 1100 SXR and do not need this waterbox anymore. It makes your SXR800 or SXR 1100 sound mean and it makes more power. (A SXR 1100 is an SXR800 with an 1100 engine out of a sitdown). It will work with the stock exhaust system in a SXR800. Just pull out your stock waterbox and exchange it with this one. It has a water line connection that can be used to inject in water which decreases the noise level. More water = quieter or less water will cause it to be louder. Works fine, was using it right up until I switched the rear mount water box. I switched because it gives me more room in the engine compartment.
