The high-performance i8 will be the second BMW i car to go on sale, following the launch of the i3 electric city car which goes on sale in BMW dealers this weekend. Saab finally has a new model, but it’s not the long-awaited new 9-5 or the 9-4X SUV. Instead it’s the 9-3X, a jacked-up estate in the style of the Audi Allroad. Like the Audi, it’s only available in estate guise (Sport Wagon in Saab speak), and will be officially unveiled at the 2009 Geneva motor show in just a few weeks' time.

0-60 tipped us off to this short video of Ferrari's forthcoming Enzo successor drifting its way around Ferrari's Fiorano test track. The F70's V12 can be heard, though there's no evidence of the rumored KERS-like hybrid system. Ferrari tells us to expect a sub-2,500-pound curb weight, and we're also hearing the 920-hp figure bandied about.
