Up for auction is a NOS Lucas tail lamp lens. I believe this to fit Triumph GT6 and Austin Healey 3000. I'm not sure what years. PLEASE CHECK COMPATIBILITY BEFORE BUYING! This is still in the original Lucas box and includes sundry kit of screws and washers. Lucas number is 54572777 and the OEM part number is 601720. The lens is marked  "L692 ENGLAND LUCAS SAE ST 69". The concept tag is obvious, but the PX part designates the show car as a plug-in hybrid crossover, and MiEV stands for Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle. Externally the PX-MiEV drops heavy hints towards the styling of the next Outlander, but Mitsubishi has pared back the design and purposely avoided adding the 'rugged'’ elements so common to SUVs.

General Motors boss Dan Akerson gets into the Woodward Dream Cruise act

General Motors chairman Dan Akerson personally led a parade down metro Detroit's famed boulevard for car aficionados, Woodward Avenue, on Thursday as part of festivities for Chevrolet's 100th anniversary and in advance of the Woodward Dream Cruise. Taking the wheel of a cherry-red 1960 Corvette, Akerson helmed the procession of Chevy icons, which included 51 Volts. The group was augmented by Camaros, more Vettes and other classics.

Pininfarina will show this new Alfa Romeo-based concept car at the 2010 Geneva motor show. The two-seater is a celebration of the relationship between two of the most stylish names in motoring, in a year that will have Pininfarina blowing out 80 candles and Alfa Romeo 100. When you consider the original 8C, the 1966 Spider Duetto, the 1987 164 and the 2003 Alfa Romeo GTV, it is definitely a relationship worth celebrating.
