Hyundai i45 / Hyundai i40 / Hyundai Sonata confirmed for Oz
Thu, 18 Feb 2010Hyundai has reveled its Sonata replacement in Australia - the Hyundai i45 Last year – in September to be accurate – Hyundai launched the replacement for the Hyundai Sonata in its home market of Korea. We knew then that the Sonata name would stay for some markets, but in keeping with Hyundai’s latest nomenclature we were going to get the i-something, to go along with i10, i20, i30, ix35…. We reckoned Europe would get the Hyundai i40, not the Hyundai Sonata.

This weekend sees the first of two petrolhead extravaganzas organised by Chris Evans for the benfit of Children in need kick off at Laverstoke Park Farm with CarFest South. Which means purveyors of supercars and providers of petrolhead fun are gathering their prize possessions together to get to Laverstoke Park Farm to enterrtain the assembled throng, one of which is *Supervettura with a cornucopia of supercar goodness.
Hungarian GP qualifying: Rosberg on pole for Mercedes – Hamilton out of qualifying after car fire
Sat, 26 Jul 2014Hungarian GP qualifying: Rosberg (pictured) on pole for Mercedes Lewis Hamilton seems to have had most of the unreliability problems that have hit Mercedes this year, but a fire in his car before he even set a time in qualifying for the 2014 Hungarian Grand Prix today in Budapest was a cruel blow to his title chances. Hamilton managed to limp his stricken car in to the pits as flames licked round the back after what appears to have been a fuel leak, but that means Hamilton will start from the back of the grid tomorrow, making it incredibly difficult to get even close to Rosberg who finished qualifying on pole. Behind Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel managed to put the Red Bull in second, with Williams’ Botas in third during a final qualifying that saw rain drench the first corner, nearly claiming Rosberg and sending McLaren’s Magnussen in to the tyre barrier and out of Q3.
