Here is a transmission front hump cover cut from a 1962 c10 chevy truck. this was a low hump truck 3 speed. solid rust free surface rust only. thanks

be sure of your own fitment but to my knowledge this should work for 60-66 chevy and GMC trucks with low hump cover. some 64-66 truck just had molded floor no bolt on cover. this again was a 62 it had a bolt on cover in addition to this firewall piece that I had to cut off. ask questions I have 15-20 60-66 chevy gmc trucks.

if you want to convert your high hump 4 speed to a low hump auto or 3 speed you would need this in addition to a bolt on low hump cover.

JCB DieselMax

Fri, 25 Aug 2006

Following its display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last month, the JCB DieselMax has recently proved itself the fastest yet diesel-powered car during Speed Week at the Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah. Andy Green, who in 1997 broke the sound barrier on land in Thrust SSC, piloted DieselMax to reach a top speed of 350.09mph, increasing the existing record set in 1973 by over 100mph. Helping the JCB DieselMax achieve this is a drag coefficient of just 0.174 and two 4.4-liter four-cylinder engines, each producing 750PS.

MORE ‘CLOCKED’ cars are on the UK’s roads now after a rise in 2013 of cars with discrepancies in their recorded mileages. Experts say this signals a worrying trend of more dishonest car sellers ‘clocking’, or falsifying, a car’s mileage to make more money when the sell it. There had been a drop in the number of recorded incidences of clocking.

Tesla system will swap a Model S battery in 90 seconds

Fri, 21 Jun 2013

"This is the title fight," said Elon Musk, in typical brashness. "This is battery-powered versus gasoline." The Tesla CEO preached this to a crowd of Tesla owners and supporters while formally confirming the company's worst-kept secret: the fact that the Model S sedan's batteries were designed from the beginning to be swapped out. The system Tesla envisioned has plenty of ambitious, techno-wizardry automation, with a focus on as much convenience as possible: The Model S will drive over a pit containing machinery which automatically changes the battery from underneath in approximately 90 seconds -- and the driver doesn't even have to get out of the car.
