This listing is for a Used 1978-1980 OMC 800 Series Hydro Mechanical Shift Lower Unit. Large Hub. Does not include shift cable and cap. Turns and shifts good. Gear oil has been drained for shipment. Lower unit has been re-painted. There are holes drilled in the cavitation plate where a whale tail was installed. Shipping will be with UPS ground. There is a flat shipping fee of $37.00 to anywhere in the lower 48. There will be additional shipping charges to Hawaii, Alaska and any other US territory. We reported last year that Jaguar Land Rover looked like they’d got some decent product placement in the latest James Bond film (SKYFALL – known then as ‘Bond 23′) and now, with Bond celebrating 50 years, the 2012 Paris Motor Show imminent and the Bond SKYFALL film about to hit cinemas, it’s time for some Jaguar Land Rover PR. We may think of Aston Martin when we think of Bond, but Jaguar has made sure they’ve got plenty of screen time in SKYFALL.
Town/country fuel price gap closes
Fri, 21 Feb 2014THE PETROL PUMP postcode lottery, meaning rural drivers lose out to town motorists on price, appears to be coming to an end. The gap between prices in country districts compared with urban areas has closed from around 5p a litre to as low as 2p, according to the AA. This dip in rural prices has contributed to a general nationwide fall in the cost of petrol, which now averages 129.63p a litre compared with 130.46p in mid-January.
