Citroen DS5 – First video tease?

Fri, 27 Aug 2010

Citroen DS5 Hybrid diesel electric – is the video below the tease for the concept? Despite our original scepticism (grumpy old man syndrome) that Citroen were intent on wrecking their history by cashing in on the DS tag – and badge engineering prosaic product with an iconic badge – we’ve been pretty much won over by the first offering from the upmarket DS range – the Citroen DS3. Peugeot 2008 DKR gets 340 bhp turbo diesel to fight the Dakar Rally

But Peugeot’s motorsport activities at the moment are extending a bit further than hitting Pikes Peak (and the Goodwood hillclimb) in a monstrous Peugeot 208 T16, and a 2008 to take on the Dakar Rally was revealed back in April. Then, we got to see the Peugeot 2008 DKR in all its Mad Max glory, but Peugeot were being a bit circumspect about what was underneath their Apocalypse-taming Rally Raid Monster.

Public urged to give view on A9 plan

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

THE PUBLIC have been urged to have their say on the design of the most expensive road project in Scotland's history. The £3 billion upgrade of the A9, which runs from central Scotland to the north coast, to full dual carriageway will cost more than the M74 completion, the new Forth road bridge and the Aberdeen bypass combined. The first public displays setting out the logistical and environmental impact of the first £40 million section of the upgrade, from Kincraig to Dalraddy in the Highlands, will be unveiled this month.
