This is a weight and balance display and control panel used on commercial aircraft. This one has a serviceable tag from Vernitech dated 9/27/91 and has been in storage since, It is in good condition without damage to the housing or connector. All controls are in place and the displays are not cracked. The data plate reads VERNITECH, STAN INDICATOR CONTROL BOX, PART NO. 968-6153-1. Philip Glenister will be back on our television screens from Sunday 20 April with a new series called For the Love of Cars. This time it’s all real life, though, as he explores the history of six iconic British cars with a restoration twist. Rather than simply talking about the vehicles, Glenister and the car restoration expert Ant Anstead will set out every week to find and restore an example of each one – starting with the Mk1 Ford Escort Mexico.

VW Golf R Cabriolet The Volkswagen Golf R Cabriolet has been accidentally confirmed with an image from China’s patent office. At last year’s Worthersee Tour Volkswagen brought along a pair of Golf Cabriolets – the VW Golf GTI Cabriolet and the VW Golf R Cabriolet – signalling some proper performance from a drop-top Golf. At the time we commented that the Golf R Cabriolet would definitely be made, but by the time Volkswagen revealed the production version of the Golf GTI Cabriolet at Geneva in March we were moved to ask “What about the Golf R Cabriolet?”.

Winners of Kia 'My Style, My Design' Chinese design contest announced

The winners of Kia's ‘My Style, My Design' design competition have been announced at a ceremony at Beijing's Yue Art Museum. This second annual event saw the number of universities involved rise from 40 to 86 with over 500 projects submitted which the organizing committee whittled down to just 30 finalists. Shangdong Transportation College student Du Wenchang's 'Honglin' project was presented with the award for first place by Seon-Ho Youn, vice president of Kia Design Center.
