Lexus NX (2014) first official pictures

Based on the Toyota RAV4, the NX features the Lexus spindle-grille up front but has lost the jagged styling that repulsed many when the concept car was shown at the 2013 Frankfurt show. The showroom edition has been toned down significantly, but still keeps the same stance and two-piece LED headlamps that ape the IS saloon’s face.

CES 2011 opens in Las Vegas

The pace of development in the world of consumer electronics – particularly touchscreens, smartphones and tablet devices – is increasingly influential on the world of automotive design. So with the world's biggest electronics trade show, the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), opening today in Las Vegas, we thought it high time for Car Design News to attend.  The 2011 show has a strong automotive flavor, more so than in any previous year. Dodge debuts a collector's-edition Mopar Charger

Banking on the success of last year's Mopar version of the Dodge Challenger, the company is now ready to launch the high-performance 2011 Mopar Charger. Chrysler's Hemi V8 powers the four-door sedan, pumping out 370 hp and an upgraded 395 lb-ft of torque. The specially equipped Charger includes the Super Trac Pac option that adds the performance-calibrated engine controller, larger front and rear stabilizer bars, specific 20-inch wheels and upgraded brakes.
