2013 SRT Viper costs less than $100,000

We’ve had our first taste of the 2013 SRT Viper on-track at GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, Mich., which you can read about here. Now we know about how much it will cost to put the new V10 sports car in your garage. The SRT Viper starts at $99,390, which includes $1,995 for destination but doesn’t include a gas-guzzler tax that’s still being finalized.

Alias announces StudioTools 12, ImageStudio 2 and Portfolio Wall 2

 Alias has announced that it will release the latest versions of its leading industrial design software Alias StudioTools 12, Alias ImageStudio 2, and Alias PortfolioWall 2 in November. The new releases are aimed at accelerating the automotive design process and improve concept design, model evaluation, design review, and production modeling. RM Auctions buys Auburn complex from Kruse

RM Auctions has bought the Kruse International Auction Park in Auburn, Ind., from financially troubled auctioneer Dean Kruse and plans to hold the site's annual Labor Day weekend car auction Sept. 2-6. Rob Myers, RM Auction CEO, said his company will spend the next several weeks making upgrades to the auction facility and lining up consignments.
