Vintage original 10 3/4 " X 13 3/4 January 26, 1929, SATURDAY EVENING POST magazine advertisement in good condition (examine scan before bidding - small repaired tears on LH side) for THE 1929 CHEVROLET TRUCK. 2nd scan shows all of the AD. 3rd scan shows reverse with Paramount Pictures advertisement. Copy reads in part : " Another Chevrolet Achievement... Greater Speed - 32% More Power - 50% more Capacity..7 inches More Wheelbase...4 Speed Transmission . 4 Wheel Brakes and 6 CYLINDERS..." on the Paramount side " PARAMOUNT takes an easy lead in talking pictures... Take, for example, these images sent to us from Autoweek subscriber Jonathan Peters while he was in Utah. Peters speculates that what he saw was a gathering of a varied Mercedes-Benz cars being tested, along with cars from other carmakers for comparisons.

Fri, 16 May 2014The new BMW 2 Series Active Tourer (pictured) specs and prices BMW’s foray in to the world of front wheel drive MPVs arrived at the Geneva Motor Show as the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, BMW’s answer to the Mercedes B Class. Sitting on the same platform as the new MINI, the Active Tourer will come with FWD as default but will be available with 4WD too and in a choice of four trim levels – SE, Luxury, Sport and M Sport. Engine choices at launch are limited, with the just the 1.5 litre three-cylinder with 134bhp in the 218i and the 2.0 litre diesel with 148bhp available in the 218d.

Thu, 31 Jan 2013Brett Patterson and Rohan Saparamadu have joined Geely as chief designers, based in Shanghai. They will both report to the company's design director Ken Ma. Patterson most recently worked as a contract designer at GM Europe's Design Center, Rüsslesheim, and has worked for GM for total of 14 years on a wide range of vehicle development programmes in Australia, Germany, Sweden and USA.
