Vinyl replacement Johnson outboard motor decals suitable for the following antique 1.5 and 2.5 hp models: 1941-42 MS 20, MD 20 and HS 20, 1942 HD 20 and 1946-1950 HD 25. Made of highest quality exterior vinyl these decals are clear-coated for extra endurance. The set includes red/black right and left sides decals measuring 10 ½” wide x 2 ¼” tall and a red/silver/black “starting/oiling” vinyl decal measuring 4 ¾” wide x 2 ¼” tall. The set includes instructions for applying these (pressure sensitive) vinyl decals. The decals are mounted on a backer plus a facing material for easy application. Many outboard motor restorers/collectors have purchased these vinyl decals at Midwestern outboard motor meets and report outstanding results as indicated by the ribbons they have received. IndyCar driver Simona De Silvestro christened the first 2014 Cadillac ELR to roll off the line at the Detroit-Hamtramck plant in Michigan on Wednesday. The Volt-based electric-gas hybrid will go on sale next year. We assume De Silvestro is in town for the Chevrolet Indy Duel in Detroit, two races at Belle Isle scheduled for this weekend.

Nissan GT-R tweaked for 2009 with more power

By Ben Pulman Motor Industry 09 December 2008 11:30 The Nissan GT-R still hasn’t gone on sale in Europe and it's already been treated to a few tweaks - new for 2009 will be more power, revised suspension, different wheels and tyres, plus a price hike. Quite, but the increase is a mere 5bhp, taking the output of Nissan's 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 from 473 to 478bhp. Nissan says the extra grunt comes from the fine tweaking of the electronics, though torque remains unchanged at 432lb ft.
