Vintage Attwood Flag Burgee Pole Holder Base - NOS

Very nice clean NOS base for holding your Burgee Flag & flying your colors! These are brand new and have never been mounted to any surface. Die-cast with the manufacturers number 1297-11 on the bottom. Accepts a 7/8" diameter burgee pole. This listing is for quantity 1 but I have 3 available (see photo #3).

-- Here's yet another gem we first saw over at Hemmings: The first, and (so far as we know) only Antarctic hot rod ever built. It might be from 1968-'71; not much else is known, except that it was probably constructed by Navy SeaBees operating out of McMurdo Station. From the one photo we have, it looks like it could have a Jeep flathead four up front.

But things are changing. The world is starting to wake up to the down-sides of the hybrid, and is starting to focus on real ‘Green’ technology, such as the Hydrogen EV. But there is life left yet in the Hybrid model, and Toyota is not going to let the grass grow under its feet (especially as Prius sales are falling rapidly).
