Up for auction is a set of 60s or 70s Cal Custom or Empi finned alum Rocker Valve covers.

Not perfect but very usable condition. Or could restore.

Never seen another set in black, don't know if it is factory or someone did the painting. Not sure if powder coated or paint.

Great for rat rod, old school, hot rod bug or man cave wall hanger!

I bought these over 25 years ago for a VW project and never installed, I bought them at a bug swap and the guy said they were over 20 years old then, but not sure.

Hyundai announces Shell as partner for 2014 rally return

The official name of the team is the Hyundai Shell World Rally Team. It also confirmed a new sub-brand to build road-going performance cars, called N, with further details to be announced.

Fords at SEMA – A Preview

Ford has the biggest display space of any manufacturer at SEMA – 27,000 square feet – and plans to pack it with every kind of truck, tuner and Transit Connect. Yes, this year at SEMA Ford will have ten customized Transit Connect small business haulers in a celebration it's calling “Vandemonium.” So far we have a picture of just of one of them, the “TC – Pentech,” a Transit Connect with two driving simulators in the back. Info on the other nine hasn't been released yet but suffice to say Vandemonium could make the Transit Connect the PC Cruiser of the new millennium.

The concept will feature radical styling, with a diesel engine acting as a generator for the concept’s electric motor. And General Motors is believed to be collaborating with urban electric scooter manufacturer Segway; the unnamed concept may be able to carry one or more of the £4000, gyroscope-controlled devices for use in town once you’ve parked.
