Vintage Motorola 800, Golden Voice, Car Radio Receiver Box, # 3080 on 2040-parts.com
New Berlin, Wisconsin, US
For sale is a vintage Motorola 800 Radio Receiver Box, Model # 3080. It was left behind by my late father in his radio supplies. He was a radio and television repairman for much of his life, and frequently salvaged radio equipment. This unit was packed in a box with a Motorola 700 radio unit, and was tucked away in storage. I would guess it was working at the time he packed it away, because he had shelves of radios that were not packed away which he used for scavenging parts. I have no knowledge of testing this old equipment, so I will have to sell it as-is. Hopefully my photographs will tell you its condition.

The S-Cross, which indicates an impending C-segment crossover model, is designed to represent a theme of "Emotion x Quality x Aerodynamics" through the use of distinctive dynamic lines that flow from the front fender across the doors and end at the rear of the body. Suzuki have left us with very little else to go on, and so we'll have to wait until next week's show to find out more.

McLaren Automotive Launch – LIVE on Cars UK
Sun, 28 Feb 2010McLaren Press Conference Live on Cars UK I know, it’s more than a year since we reported that Ron Dennis was stepping down from his involvement in McLaren F1 to ‘Spend more time with the Family New Cars’ and almost a year since we reported that McLaren Automotive was being created as an independent company. So it seems a little odd to run a headline that says ‘McLaren Automotive Launch‘ when we’ve known about it for a year. But that year has been a busy one for Ron Dennis and the team at Woking.
