THIS IS A HANDSOME VINTAGE POLARIS BLACK LEATHER SNOWMOBILE JACKET WITH RED PIPING AND THE POLARIS NAME IN LEATHER STITCHED TO BOTH SLEEVES AND IS A SIZE LARGE AND IT WAS MADE IN KOREA. IT HAS A NYLON QUILTED LINING AND COMES FROM A NON SMOKING ENVIRONMENT. IT HAS THREE OUTSIDE POCKETS AND ALL ZIP CLOSED AND WORK GREAT. THE CUFFS ALSO ZIP. GM to reprogram some oil-life monitors
Fri, 05 Apr 2013This story originally appeared on Automotive News General Motors is warning owners of almost 800,000 2010-12 vehicles that they may need oil changes more frequently than the onboard oil monitoring systems are telling them. After high warranty claims on several models with four-cylinder engines, GM will reprogram software to make oil change warning lights go on sooner. The change only affects 2010-2012 Chevrolet Equinox, GMC Terrain and Buick LaCrosse and Regal models with 2.4-liter LAF and LEA four-cylinder engines.
Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid: Production underway
Mon, 19 Nov 2012The world’s first production plug-in diesel hybrid – the Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid – has gone in to production ahead of customer deliveries. Volvo are producing just 1,000 2013 V60 plug-ins, but are aiming to up production to between 4-6,000 a year from the 2014 model year and, despite the problems of integrating the V60′s complicated electric stuff in to a production car, the V60 plug-in is rolling down the same production line as the regular V60, V70, S80 and XC90. That complicated stuff includes two different powertrains and a battery pack – enough for up to 32 miles as an EV only – and a total of 300 additional parts compared to a regular ICE V60.
