This is a vintage vacuum gauge made by Gast Manufacturing Corp of Benton Harbor, Michigan.  It reads from 0 to 30 inches of mercury however I have no way of testing it.  It is backed by my “No Questions Asked” money back guarantee (see below).  It comes with vintage dust at no extra cost (see cleaning note below).  If you have any questions, please email me at least 24 hours before the end of the auction to ensure a timely response.

MY GUARANTEE.

You won’t find any fine print or legal weasel words in this guarantee.  If you buy this item, and don't believe I have described its condition fairly, I'll refund your purchase price in full, NO QUESTIONS ASKED (sorry, postage and shipping are not refundable).   So far, nothing has ever been returned because I overstated its condition and I aim to keep it that way.  Please check my 100% positive feedback.  I’m proud of my rating and do everything I can to make sure my customers are satisfied.

MY PRICING PHILOSOPHY.

I include shipping in the price for your convenience.  I list a low minimum bid that covers my costs and the shipping.  Free shipping is not free, I still have to pay for it.  I always trust the eBay auction system to result in a fair selling price.  Because of extra fees for international sales I charge a $3.00 handling fee for sales outside the U.S.  And as always, there is NEVER A RESERVE PRICE for my auctions.

SHIPPING AND PAYMENT.

Free First Class shipping to the U.S.A.  I do ship most items worldwide unless noted otherwise.  (For international shipping cost, including Canada, please email me).  I will always combine shipping where practical.  I accept PayPal.  Thanks for bidding and good luck.  Please check out My Other Auctions.  For more information about me, check out my eBay My World page.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS NOTE

I am sorry to have to post this note.  I am an honest person.  I will not lie when I list items and describe them.  Please do not ask me to lie on the customs forms as I will not do it.  When I print your mailing label and customs form through PayPal it will fill it out with the actual amount of the sale and a description of the item you bought.  You know what taxes and duties you have to pay and they are your responsibility.  Thank you for understanding.

CLEANING NOTE

I am not a collector.  To avoid damage to a vintage item I do very little cleaning.  Unless specified as new, all items are sold as is, either items that belonged to me or my family, or items I may have found at a yard sale.  I make it a point to describe any flaws, chips, cracks and missing or broken parts that I find.  Often, you will see macro photos (enlarged close-ups) of unique features or damaged areas.  I want you to know the good, the bad, and the ugly about any item I offer on eBay so there are no surprises when you open that package you get in the mail.  My goal is 100% satisfied customers.  Please email me immediately if you are not 100% happy with your purchase.  I will do my best to make it right.  And as always, I stand behind my NO QUESTIONS ASKED guaranteed return policy (See above).

NHTSA probing coolant leak in Porsche 911?

Tue, 30 Apr 2013

In another embarrassing failure to understand what they're supposed to be regulating, the NHTSA has announced that they are investigating a “coolant leak” in Porsche 911s that were built with the GT1 engine block between 2001 and 2007. Maybe when they said coolant, they were talking about the oil that circulates in a 911 to keep the engine cool? Next thing you know, they'll be checking out fuel pumps on the Tesla Model S!

Audi TT interior (2014) first official pictures

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 08 January 2014 12:00 If you’re hankering after the new Audi TT, sit tight: this is the cabin that awaits you inside Audi’s new third-gen sports coupe. Although it retains classic TT design cues like triplet central air vents, and the instrument binnacle’s rounded hood, this is a step-change for Audi interior design, nicking cues from the 2013 Sport Quattro concept and pointing to the future of all Ingolstadt’s cockpits. The slim, almost Ferrari 458-like dashboard structure has come about through Audi ditching the central MMI (MultiMedia Interface) screen altogether.

Newcastle’s Speed Cameras switched off for 4 years – Council chief still gets a ticket

Fri, 21 Oct 2011

Speed Cameras in Newcastle switched off Speed cameras – certainly many of them – are nothing more than tax generators. But if you live, or travel, in Newcastle, then speed cameras have contributed virtually nothing – they’ve all been switched off for up to four years. Newcastle has a total of fourteen speed cameras, but to save money the local council has had them all switched off for the last two years, and some of them haven’t worked for four years in a secret, money-saving exercise.
